Laura Friedlander has been taking photographs since she was 16, continuing today to use her very first camera, which is an all-manual older Canon, in addition to having gone digital. 

Laura strives to capture the essence of whatever is on the other side of her lens.

In addition to photography, Laura has worked as a social worker, teacher and doula.  When Laura is not taking photos she can be found spending time with her husband Adam, three daughters, and numerous animals.
